Am I showing my age, if I ask you if you've ever listened to the Beatles. Or is it safe to say that everyone has, at least once. I know what your thinking that title is a little clickbait-y, but I had to get you here somehow. Now that your here. Did you know I wrote Where is the Sun? while listening to the Beatles. Can you guess the song? If you know anything about the Beatles. It's really very obvious, actually. Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles was a major player in the creation of this book. I needed something soothing and cheerful and this song fit the bill nicely. Every time I hear it I think of my mom. She used to tell me this story of a teacher she had and he wore bellbottoms (naturally!) and listened to the song on repeat. Not a bad class to sit in if you ask me. However, she did say he tended to spit when he talked so maybe not. Anyway, that is how the book got its name. Listening to the dreamy, floating melody. Writing about a time far into the future (hopefully not too far) where we would be free to enjoy the sun untethered (and unmasked :O). If you want a little peace today here's the song.
